Chucen Chen (b. 1998) is an interdisciplinary artist and educator, holding a Master of Art from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts (2024) and a Bachelor of Fine Art from Ohio State University (2020). Over the past eight years, her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, engaging diverse audiences through a wide array of mediums including printmaking, painting, book arts, digital media, creative writing, and interactive media installations. Chen's artistic practice is deeply intertwined with her educational endeavors. Her work explores the evolving emotional landscapes of adolescents and young adults, delving into themes of identity, connection, and the search for meaning. Through a synthesis of light, imagery, and language, she crafts immersive, narrative-driven experiences that challenge viewers to reflect on the nature of love and the complexities of youth.
